The Bloomfields Album Review

I was so excited to buy this 1st album of the Bloomfields. I've seen the band's live performance. And I was so amazed, its was like watching my favorite band the Beatles up close. They are full of surprises, every next song was your favorite song from the 80's. They are actually a show band for rock n roll and they can be booked for any occasions. More of a variety band I'd say. They cover songs from the Beatles, Beach Boys and bands from the 80's. It was nice to see this group with young members playing some oldies hits.

All of them sing and they have great voice blending. Although I just wish they'd come up with some more compose songs rather than covered in their new album. Its kinda second-rate to their talents I know they could have done great if they focused more on their composed songs. They're so young and talented but then they sounded more like a wedding singers. And by the way they dress like Beatles, they wear suits with tie (very savvy) and they look great in black and white pictures and videos.

You can buy the their new album at Odyssey Records store. The CD costs 299php which leaves you a change of 1 peso for 300php. You can drop it in the Bantay Bata donation can located at the cashier. ^_^ I'd like you to know that I will rate the album not the band. Again, like what I said "I know they could have done more." Cheers!

I'll Let You in to a Lil Secret

I felt like a junkie after the break up. I want to face the mirror and explain why.

It was like hell living without her. My brother said there are two ways to say that you love a person: "I love you." and "I'm in-love with you." I prefer the latter. "I love you" can be as plain as it sounds, you can say it to me, to a friend, to your parents or even to a random person. While "I'm in-love with you" gives a different impact on the person you choose to say these words. For example: two male best friends can say "I love you that's why I'm always here for you!" but the can't say "I'm in-love with you that's why I'm always here for you!" that makes one of them gay, right? *lol*

Words can be meaningful if you listen to them right. But of course words ain't enough. She showed me that and its a price too high to pay. Not only we love each other but we are also in-love. That's what matter most. ^_^

Finoy ako, Finoy Tayo, Ifakita sa Mundo...

San ba tau pupunta? Masasabi kong may pagka nasyonalismo parin ako.

San ba tayo pupunta..? Wag na dito na lang ako.

Resign

I'm so grateful from what I've learned from watching movies, reading books and magazines, listening to Nu 107, and for the music industry. Not only I was entertained but also it led me to something I never thought I'd be making money (talking). Then came Call Center. *Gosh!* It was like a ballooning seat industry. Before back in year 2000, when call centers were just budding and the salary looks promising for a person who can sit in a comfy chair and speaks good english. Competition is nowhere to be found from applicants during that time. No one dares to enter the business not unless your damn good in english. Well, even some professionals resigned from their sweaty jobs like teachers, professors, bankers, secretaries, and especially students with computer savvy skills, youthful and can withstand working on wee hours fill in the seats as agents.

I'm one of those students, *ugh! pathetic*! I was lured by the job offers. *you'd see that peso sign in my eyes bouncing, yaikes*. But the problem was I get bored from the work easily (Oops. Hope my bosses won't read this). It became my hobby to transfer from one center to another (I became like Captain Jack Sparrow, "Pirate of the Call Centers" *lols*). If you transfer to a center because they offered you something you can resist ("bargain" as for pirates call it), it means you got pirated. *lol*

I'm tendering my resignation tomorrow. I told my supervisor about it.. online, after I got home *Damn, he even treat us a pizza that day, that's why i can't tell him straight face I'm going to resign*. We exchanged pm's at msn, I informed him that I will be submitting my resignation tomorrow *Whew!*. Before I blogged this I already made my resignation letter. I need to go back to school, opportunities awaits me after graduating. I know I deserve more than just an agent, I even got that promotion from my previous company *too bad I can't stand the stress and the salary they're giving me*. I only dialed for 3 months and after that I was qualified for a higher position (managerial candidate) because of my performance *its actually my first job ever, beginner's luck huh..*. I worked as an MC for 5 months only and after that I got pirated by a nearby center. They offered a big sign-in bonus.

Sometimes, I do wonder who actually reads my blog (other than a small handful of my friends and office mates). Voyeurs? Stalkers? Admirers? Fans? I wished *lol* It'd be cool to know who they are. So...folks, now is your chance to reveal yourself on my comments box!! Heh

Waaaaaaaa... Dunno what to say! It was a blast last night! The party turned out great although there are some misunderstandings, nevertheless we kept our coolness and the changes were never then pronounced. I'm so glad that everybody got to know each other instantly. I didn't actually expect that my high school friends, office mates, close friends and friend of a friend would get along that easy. Maybe that's why I threw in a small talk with Melvin and Roxy. I'm afraid that there would be a grouping among these guys. The funny thing is that the intense drama brought these guys closer! *lol* . Well, enough with that... I've learned my lesson, never burst in public like a cry baby *lol* and then most important thing is talk things out with your girlfriend if there is a bit misunderstanding. =) I love you so much Chummy! I know, Leigh, it was for us I got carried away and also everybody did. (let's admit it boys! We're sorry *lol*). But I did inform them about the time schedules and reminded them that the bed belongs to Noms and Leigh (right guys? *lol*). Any momentary's silence or clear-headedness will uncontrollably bring the celebration to a dull, good thing it didn't came to that.

Well don't worry about us, guys. Even though we were really-really exhausted and even for just a short time Leigh and I still managed to get ourselves a quality time by eating breakfast together in the hotel and .... That's all I'm gonna say, lets talk about the breakfast experience we had. The breakfast was awesome! It's my first time to experience eating at a hotel in buffet with all you can eat breakfast. Lots of foreigners and the ambiance was really awesome. Its the best birthday treat I ever have. It was like I'm still dreaming when Leigh woke me up to go down for the breakfast. People were minding their own business on the breakfast table. Talking to each other, American businessman brainstorming while eating, lovers exchanging dishes and spoon feeding each other (like us *lol*), chefs making omelets and pancakes. It was perfect!

Back to the party... Hmmm... I know I missed something when I was gone for awhile. No one was looking for me, while I wonder in Makati Ave. Everyone is too busy to notice I'm not there. I think Mike scores later that morning (nice one Johnny Bravo! *lol*). And Jay-jay was a hit too. Too bad your a late bloomer, Jay (right Roxy? *lol*). Daryl managed to take a nap and silently exits the drinking marathon? *lol*. I thought you guys are tough, huh? "He puked on the way home" Jay said! Mark, late again?! Always on a hurry by the last minute... tsk tsk! (FYI: Mark, spent his lucky 200php bill for the drinks *lol* thanks Mark!). Erwin, we did enjoy the pool right!? Erwin is a good lookin' guy, I wonder why he's not included in "the penis measurment dares". I think you need to go back to gym I know you're also thinking of it since Mike is getting alot of attension. Well, maybe it's his time to shine, like Jay-jay said "Kung makikita mo lang si Ang (mike) noong 4th year" . That's right Ang was skinny as a kite, we used to call him "Ang Payat" *lol* (bumabawe lang siya ngayon, kasi parati syang basted noon *lols* just kidding Mike). Ruby, also the number one kikay before Roxy came in. We're happy to have you there. You made the party gone wild *lols*. Roxy, hmmm, thanks for putting all this up, you and Leigh. Also I know that you did bring out some cash too (I hope that's not a lucky bill also *lol*), thanks for the drinks. Your the one who should be blamed why Jay-jay is snorring and drop down drunk on the floor (Go Girl!). Melvin, thanks for the advice and your company, nice to meet you and I hope that's not the last time we're going to party! Win, I like the singing part though I can't sleep hearing you sing, but don't get me wrong you do have a nice voice. Dens, your so funny! Leigh likes it so much when your around, there is no dull moment with you. Thanks for always being there, thanks for everything Dens!

GUYS thanks for a one great party! Hope that there is still more to come! =)

Miss you guys!
